Sponsorship Form

The Tumbleweed Music Festival is produced and supported by the nonprofit Three Rivers Folklife Society.  Additional funding comes from a variety of sources. The City of Richland is a major sponsor with monies from the Hotel/Motel Tax.  Other money that supports the festival comes from grants, sponsors, and donations.

You can help us and your small business by becoming one of the sponsors for the main festival stage.  There is nothing like a friendly, receptive audience, in front of our North Stage, all featuring 45 minute musical performances, to give exposure to your small business.

We greatly appreciate our sponsors.  Every small business that donates $125 or more gets their business announced to the audience as a sponsor, has their company banner displayed  for all to see throughout the entire festival time, is named in our program as a sponsor, and has the option to a link the business in our website. 

Four to six thousand folks attend our festival each year from our local communities, and from all over the Northwest and beyond.

You may also sponsor any of our other Stages in whole or in part (up to 3 co-sponsors may sponsor any one stage), or simply provide basic support through contributions of any size.  See our form (downloaded OR the online version below) for full details.

TMF Stage Banner Information

Create a banner on vinyl cloth to display your business information.

Banner shape – Rectangular with grommets at each corner

Colors – Rich colors on a light background are most visible

Sizes – Standard size is up to 4 feet long and 2 feet high.

Large banners ($200 donation):  up to 8 feet long and 2 feet high.

Small banners ($125 donation):  up to 6 feet long and 18 inches high.

Note that banners over 2 feet high may be too much for us to display.

In addition to the North Stage Sponsorships there are opportunities to become a "Sole Sponsor" for Stage, Workshop, and Gathering Areas. ​

Dear Tumbleweed Supporter:

Each Labor Day weekend since 1997, the Three Rivers Folklife Society has sponsored the Tumbleweed Music Festival in Richland. For the 30th annual festival in
2026, we’ll again be having a live festival in Richland’s Howard Amon Park.  We’ll also be maintaining a virtual element of the Tumbleweed festival at our
festival website, tumbleweedfest.com. Financial support for the festival comes from many sources, including the City of Richland, grants, patron donors,
sales of festival merchandise, and sponsorships by community businesses and organizations. We would like to invite you to be a part of this Labor Day weekend
tradition by becoming a sponsor of the festival. All business sponsors are listed on the festival website. The Three Rivers Folklife Society is a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

This year’s festival will present over 100 performances and workshops, featuring traditional and contemporary folk music, blues, bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, nautical,
western, country, jazz, and more! The performances will include a Friday Night "Expanding Horizons" concert featuring younger, higher-energy performers; a Saturday Night
Tumbleweed benefit concert featuring three headline acts, and the traditional Sunday Night theme concert, with performances of songs each relating to our festival
theme “Tumbleweed - Thirty Years by the River.” Our performers are normally primarily from the Pacific Northwest, but we also usually have several states and other countries represented.
